Taimanokehaya Pagoda (Taimanokehayazuka)
The Taimanokehaya Pagoda is a stone pagoda made for Taimanokehaya, who was a founder of sumo. In the reign of Emperor Suinin, Taimanokehaya and Nominosukune wrestled against each other to find out who was stronger. This was the first sumo wrestling held in front of an emperor.
